Proud of HIV testing in Singapore

HIV testing has always been heavily stigmatised.
The Anonymous HIV Testing Program did reduce some barriers to HIV testing but the real barrier is the stigma.
People still feel ashamed to be seen testing for HIV when they should be proud.
They have the courage and the responsibility to do the right thing.
Do you?

  1. Hi dr. Tan, i had unprotected last november 2013, then after my vacation abroad, i got sick for 3 days that was january 2014, until now, i dont do any testing for hiv, im still really scared maybe im infected, everytime i hear hiv, my mind didnt stop thinking.

    • I want to do anonymous testing but im really scared. I didnt get any symptoms, just the 3 days that i get sick last january 2013. But everytime i hear the word hiv, i start thinking bad, i look to my skin for any symptoms, if i see small red dots, i already suspect it is from hiv.

      • Well my friend, you have 2 choices. You can bite the bullet and muster up the courage to get a HIV test done OR you can live the rest of your life in fear. Take my advice, go get a test done. I have seen anxiety and fear destroy lives faster than HIV. It is not difficult. Click here for a step by step guide on how to get an anonymous test done at our clinic.
